Irina Shammay is a Doctor in Physical Therapy and is President of VPTR PC.

Irina Shammay graduated from Long Island University in 1999 with a BS in Science, and in 2000 she received a MS in Physical Therapy.

In 2006, Mrs. Shammay was awarded with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital, MA.

Dr. Shammay has 24 years of experience in Physical Therapy and is affiliated with NYU hospital. 

Dr. Shammay is a guess instructor at various institutions, colleges and community places.

Dr. Shammay has experience in the evaluation and treatment of children and adults with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders.

Dr. Shammay created team of physical therapists with strong backgrounds and experience in evaluating and treating patients.

VPTR PC works closely with the Physical Therapy Research Institute  (who provide evaluations and treatment of common disease disorders in along with diagnostic studies such as EMG/NCV).

Our team works closely with Medical Doctors, Nutritionist, Surgical team, Occupation Therapists and Speech Therapist.
